Anti-media resolution not part of party policy: Shahbaz
RAHIMYAR KHAN: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that the passage of resolution against media was not part of the policy of Pakistan Muslim League-N and vowed that “we will together scrap this resolution”.Addressing a program held to distribute lease documents of 2118 acres land to 123 agriculture graduates here, Shahbaz Sharif said the anger of journalists is valid. “I also said this yesterday that the sacrifices rendered by journalists deserve praise,” he added.
The Chief Minister said 73000 acre land has been distributed in the first phase.
He said land will be distributed among graduates across Punjab so that cultivation of land is undertaken using modern techniques. Land will also be given away to the graduates majoring in forestry in the days to come, he announced.
