Indo-Pak foreign ministers’ talks underway
ISLAMABAD: Much awaited talks between Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan have started here a few minutes ago, Geo news reported.Visiting Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna arrived along 15-member delegation here at Foreign Office (FO) today to hold meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
FM Qureshi, accompanied by his delegation, extended Indian FM a warm welcome upon his arrival at FM office. Before a formal meeting of delegations from two sides, the FMs held one-on-one meeting.
Subsequently, the talks at delegation level started, wherein, foreign secretaries are assisting their ministers.
A joint press conference has been scheduled following conclusion of the talks at 3pm. Indian delegation is due to hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani later today, sources told media.
