Latif Khosa resigns
ISLAMABAD: Sardar Latif Khosa, the PM Adviser on Information Technology tendered resignation from his office, Geo News reported Tuesday.
Prior to his resignation, he met President Asif Ali Zardari.
It should be mentioned here that the portfolio of Ministry of Information Technology was taken from him last night.
According to reports, the PM Secretariat was receiving several complaints in connection with his ministry. Plus, Khosa was at grave variance with the Secretary IT as well.
Birjees Tahir, Chairman of National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information Technology took serious notice of corruption and irregularities in the IT ministry.
It should be mentioned here that Sardar Latif Khosa was appointed as Attorney General after Malik Abdul Qayyum; however, he had to quit the office when bribery scandal was unfolded.
