Pakistan sincerely pursuing dialogue process: Qureshi

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Tuesday that Pakistan is ready for result-oriented and meaningful talks with India.

Talking to journalists at the local airport, Qureshi said that Pakistan was consistent in their dialogue process and was facing resistance from the Indian government.

According to the minister different issues including Kashmir and the water issues needed to be resolved through communication.

Qureshi said that India had no role in Pak-Afghan transit trade accord and it would not benefit India. As far as the nuclear plants from China, he said that China had already cleared its position in this regard. To a question, the minister rejected the report about presence of al Qaeda in Pakistan, as misleading and baseless. app
