Flights from Islamabad delayed due to rains
RAWALPINDI: Due to heavy rainfall, the flight schedule at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad was completely disrupted on Thursday and a total of 15 flights were affected. Passengers had to face difficulties due to cancelled and delayed flights. Due to the dark clouds covering Islamabad on Thursday, visibility remained poor throughout the day and flights were unable to take off or land at the airport. Seven international and eight domestic flights were affected due to the weather. Relatives of the victims of Airblue Flight ED-202 crash had to face difficulties as they tried to reach Islamabad from various areas of the country. staff report
