EC seeks details of political parties' assets
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned details of assets of political parties by August 29, Geo News reported.
According to a statement issued here on Thursday, the ECP has directed political parties to provide details of their assets, source of income and payments which they have to make along with signatures of party heads.
In accordance with the Political Parties Ordinance 2002, it is necessary for all to submit details of their assets to the ECP within seven days of the completion of each fiscal year.
