New monsoon spell starts in northern areas
ISLAMABAD: The new spell of monsoon rains has started in the northern areas of the country, Geo News reported. According to the met office, the rains will last for 2-3 days.
In northern Punjab and Kashmir many areas experienced rain with lightning.
In Jhelum, 73 mm of rain was recorded while in Gujranwala 55 mm, Rawalpindi and Muzzaffarabad 52 mm, Murree 49 mm, Sialkot 35mm, Islamabad and Kotil 32 mm rain was recorded.
