Pagara calls for deployment of Army in Karachi
KARACHI: PML-F Chief Pir Pagara said Saturday that the army would need to be called in for the restoration of peace in Karachi, meanwhile Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that some individuals were directing the carnage in Karachi from jails adding that action against miscreants would continue until peace was restored in the city.
Talking to media after the arrival of Interior Minister Rehman Malik at Kingri House, Pir Pagara said that he had made a demand for the commissioner system which had been fulfilled.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that an operation was conducted in the troubled areas of Katti Pahari and Kasbah Colony. Malik said that the FC had been deployed for the protection of people.
