MQM submits request for Sindh Assembly session
KARACHI: MQM along with opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly Jam Madad Ali has submitted a petition to call a session of the Sindh Assembly Saturday, Geo News reported.
Jam Madad Ali said that the decision for the petition was made in light of problems being faced by the people.
Speaking to the media, the opposition leader said that people were being killed and this had to be resolved immediately.
MQM leader Raza Haroon said that his party was playing the role of opposition and had announced a day of mourning in Karachi because the party was concerned about the deaths of innocent people.
He added that protest would be peaceful and within the limits of the law and the opposition would continue to play its role.
The MQM leader also said that his party was aware of what was taking place in the city over the past four days and said they would bring the gathered evidence to the Sindh Assembly.
He added that the MQM would take legal action against the commissioner system.
