‘So-called reconciliation converted city into slaughter house’

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi will hold a peace march on Sunday (today) in the metropolis. This was announced by JI Karachi Amir Muhammad Hussain Mehnati at a press conference, held at Idara Noor-e-Haq, here on Friday. He said that the JI would not let citizens alone at the risk of terrorists.

He said that aliens were not committing massacre in the city, as every child of the metropolis knew who were responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.

He regretted that high figures of the present government gathered after every massacre in the city but no positive results had been achieved so far. Inspector General of Police and Director General Rangers are also seen limited to press conferences only, he added. JI leader said so-called reconciliation policy of the present government had converted the entire city into a slaughter house.

The PPP leaders used to ensure people several times that terrorist activities would be ended, but new miseries appeared soon after such type of statements, he observed.
