DCs appointed to Karachi districts
KARACHI: Deputy Commissioners have been appointed in five districts of Karachi and other districts of Sindh province, Geo News reported.After the revival of old local government system in Karachi, the city now has five administrative divisions called districts, Central, East, West, Malir and South.
According to the notification, Kanwar Leghari has been appointed DC West, Matanat Ali Khan, Central, Jamal Mustafa Qazi, South, Mushtaq Ahmed, East and Jan Mohammad Qazi, Malir.
According to senior bureaucrats, some deputy commissioners do not fulfill the criteria.
