Captive workers being transferred to interior Sindh: MQM
KARACHI: The Rabitta Committee of the MQM has strongly condemned the transfer of its captive party workers to interior Sindh and the torture which they are having to experience, Geo News reported.
A statement issued by the Rabitta Committee alleged that the provincial minister for jails was making MQM workers victims of political revenge on the directives of Zulfiqar Mirza, adding that the MQM was being punished for leaving the government.
The MQM has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Justice Sindh High Court and different human rights organizations to stop the abuse its captive workers have to face at the hands of the Peoples Party and Zulfiqar Mirza.
