Rangers killed Sarfaraz Shah in front of me: DDO Parks
By Asghar Azad
KARACHI: Deputy District Officer (DDO) Parks Karachi Abdul Rasheed has said, “Pakistan Rangers, Sindh (Abdullah Shah Ghazi Wing) personnel had killed Sarfaraz Shah in front of me”.
This he stated while testifying before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday. ATC Judge Bashir Ahmad Khoso started the proceeding of the Sarfaraz Shah murder case in the morning hours but the defence counsels of the accused Rangers personnel were not present in the court.
The ATC judge expressed annoyance over this behaviour of the counsels. He said the court had provided all leniencies to the defence counsels as per their wishes so as to ensure smooth proceedings. He said that timing of the proceeding had been fixed as per the choice of the counsels but they did not take this facility seriously. The judge suspended the proceeding until 02:00pm and issued directives to the counsels for appearing before the court. He said if they failed to appear, the court would proceed the case.
