Meera’s suitor alleges discrimination, demands justice
By Asad Farooq
KARACHI: One amongst Meera’s suitors, Najeeb Baloch has said that he was the most favourite candidate to tie a knot with renowned celebrity Meera, but was terminated through a conspiracy from a reality show being held for Meera to select her better half.
He said while expressing these views in a press conference at the Karachi Press Club Tuesday that a few months ago he received a telephone call from a local television channel and was informed that he had been selected for the show. He said after signing an agreement, he had been a part of the reality show during the first week of May.
Baloch said that he participated in the programme and completed his tasks working hard with enthusiasm, as he loved Meera from the depths of his heart. He said that he faced several injustices during the programme as he was sent to date with Meera along with another guy and he was given only five minutes to talk to her instead of an hour.
Baloch said that enemies to his love hatched conspiracies to set him apart from his love. He said when at an occasion Meera told Baloch that people liked him, he took it to mean that Meera also liked him.
Meera’s suitor alleged that during the programme he was not only neglected but also teased by some elements. He further alleged that he was offered an opportunity to work on that TV channel if he were to withdraw himself voluntarily.
Baloch demanded to be reinstated in the programme so as to fulfil the demands of merit.
