KARACHI: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Wasan said that he had also given orders for the Rangers to be deployed at Kati Pahari, Geo News reported. Speaking to the media Wasan said “the writ of the Sindh Government and the Home Minister should be restored.” He added that his priority was to restore and maintain law and order in the city.The comments from the Sindh Home Minister came after MQM Deputy Convener, Farooq Sattar revealed that it was after the intervention of the DG ISI that the Rangers were deployed at Katti Pahari. Sattar said that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had contacted DG ISI Lt. General Shujha Pasha and informed him about the situation in Karachi.
