US assured to continue civilian aid: Hafeez
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh on Saturday called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and informed him that the US had assured to continue civilian aid to Pakistan, Geo News reported.The Finance Minister briefed the Prime Minister regarding his conversation with US deputy secretary of state Thomas Nides. He said that he exchanged views on the economic cooperation between Pakistan and the US on terror war.
Hafeez Shaikh said that the US had assured to continue civilian aid to Pakistan besides releasing remaining amount of coalition support fund.
