Malik phones Chidambaram, offers condolences

Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram and offered condolences for the loss of lives in the recent blast in Mumbai on Saturday. Malik offered sympathies on behalf of the government of Pakistan to the Indian government and the bereaved families of the victims of the tragic incident. He assured his Indian counterpart of Pakistan’s assistance and was confident that the culprits would be uncovered and brought to the book. The minister expressed the hope that cooperation and good relations between the two countries would continue to grow in the future due to the desire and endeavours of the leadership of the two sides. app
