PM urges MPs to supervise development schemes
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has urged the parliamentarians to keep close contact with their electorate in order to address their problems.
Talking to MNA Raja Pervez Ashraf at the PM House on Sunday, the prime minister asked him to supervise ongoing development projects in his constituency so that full economic advantage of the schemes initiated in his area could be procured.
He discussed political situation and party’s organisational matters with the MNA.
Ashraf apprised the prime minister about progress on various development schemes launched in northern Punjab.
The former chairman of the Implementation Commission, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, also called on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani at the PM House Sunday morning.
He briefed the prime minister on his recent visit to the United Kingdom along with a delegation comprising members of the Implementation Commission.
The delegation visited UK on the invitation of the UK government and Commonwealth. app
