Zardari welcomes Ebad resuming charge
KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has welcomed Altaf Hussein’s initiative of directing Ishratul Ebad to resume charge as the Sindh governor. Zardari chaired a special consensus meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to chalk out a strategy to remove Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s reservations. He declared Altaf’s initiative as important for national solidarity, harmony and reconciliation. Resumption of governorship by Ebad was a visible proof of the success of the PPP’s reconciliatory and dialogue policy, he said. He said that the PPP would continue its policy of consensus with its coalition partners, hoping that they would all revert to the previous coalition folds. online
