KESC shuts operations due to insecurity
KARACHI: Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has stopped all operations and closed all offices due to lack of security, Geo News reported.KESC spokesperson said despite the court orders the government has failed to provide adequate security to the staff and has to shut all operations. Unknown men have put a siege around KESC head office and the staff has been trapped inside, he added.
The management has written a letter to Sindh Governor and Sindh Chief Minister regarding the problems faced by the company, the spokesperson said.
