Navy drone crashes near oil refinery
KARACHI: A pilot less surveillance plane crashed near National Oil Refinery located in Korangi industrial area here on Tuesday. However, no major damage to installations of the oil refinery was reported. Police sources said that Pakistan Navy’s remote-controlled plane crashed in the compound of National Oil Refinery situated in Korangi’s industrial area in the morning hours, as it collided with a bird seven minutes after take off during an experimental flight. On being informed, rescuers of various organisations, police and Rangers reached the spot. staff report
