Hajj corruption case: Notification issued to restore Hussain Asghar
ISLAMABAD: The notification to restore FIA officer Hussain Asghar has been issued by the secretary division, Geo News reported. Asghar will resume his role as the investigation officer in the hajj corruption case and will probe the scam.
Earlier during the proceedings, the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) warned the secretary establishment to produce the notification to restore Hussain Asghar by 11:30 am today (Tuesday).
The six-member bench of the Supreme Court was headed by Chief Justice (CJ) Iftihkar Muhammad Chaurdhry who was hearing the case.
The CJ remarked that if the notification to restore Asghar will not be produced then the secretary establishment would be sent to jail.
