US Ambassador visits CID blast site
KARACHI: US Ambassador Cameron Munter said the death of CID members was for the sake of peace in Karachi and their sacrifice will never be forgotten, Geo News reported Friday.
Munter also met with the families of victims who lost their lives in the CID blast and offered condolence. The US Ambassador said the sacrifice of 1,800 police officials from 1982 till present will never end up in vain.
He praised the CID, police and other security members all over Sindh for fulfilling their responsibilities bravely.
Munter added that complete support would be provided to Pakistan’s security organizations.
