IBA bestowed with Innovation Leadership Award in Singapore

LAHORE: The second Asia’s Best Business School Awards has honoured the Punjab University Institute of Business Administration (IBA) with the “Innovation Leadership Award.”
IBA Director Prof Dr Muhammad Ehsan Malik received the award in a ceremony held at Suntec, Singapore, on July 22.
Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Bhaskar Chatterjee and Chief Marketing Officer Council Donovan Neale-May were the chief guests at the ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran congratulated Dr Malik on this achievement and for rendering great service to promote quality education at the institute.
The Asia Advisory Board and the Advisory Council of World Brand Congress performed the task of identifying Asia’s best business schools and the organisation covered 29 countries of Asia. The jury for the award comprised 15 renowned experts who had command and an authority in their respective field.
The organisation adopted a comprehensive procedure for selection of the award and identified professionals to collect qualitative information while the research cell played strategic role in collating data, conducting phone interviews and indicating the level of quality input, academic input, placements, vision and mission of the institution.
