Will never allow attack on judiciary: Nawaz
MURREE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that there is no doubt about the supremacy of parliament but the government will not be allowed to jeopardize judiciary, Geo News reported.
Nawaz Sharif said that the government would have to abide by the orders of the judiciary. Nawaz Sharif was addressing a meeting of newly elected party members and said that Pakistan’s future is linked with supremacy of law and that the PML-N would never disappoint the nation.
Prior to this meeting, the PML-N president met prominent Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa politician and former ANP leader Fareed Taufan who said that in the present situation, the people of the country are looking towards Nawaz Sharif.
