Ephedrine case: court extends remand of four accused

RAWALPINDI: The Trial Court of Rawalpindi on Saturday extended remand of four accused for 11 more days and sent them jail in Ephedrine quota case, Geo News reported.

Special Anti-Narcotic court Rawalpindi heard the ephedrine case today. ANF presented four accused before the court.

The court sent accused Ansar Farooq, Iftikhar Babar, Abdul Sattar and Shaikh Ansar on judicial remand till July 25.

It may be mentioned here that ANF had registered the case regarding the illegal quota of ephedrine in October last year. MNA Ali Musa Gilani, son of former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and federal minister Makhdoom Shahbuddin are also accused in this accused.
