No secret talks with govt on caretaker set-up: PML-N

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), on Wednesday, denied rumours regarding secret talks with the government over forming a caretaker government. “We are not holding any secret talk with the government to reach a deal over a caretaker setup,” opposition leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said. The opposition leader also criticised PTI chief Imran Khan for speaking against PML-N. “Imran should not throw stones at others while sitting in glass room,” Nisar advised Khan. Nisar dubbed PTI as a “test-tube baby party” of former ISI chief Ahmed Shujja Pasha, and blamed him for backing PTI in his tenure. Questioning the electoral strength of PTI, the opposition leader said that PTI had only won one seat in the National Assembly since its inception, 17 years ago. staff report
