Bugti murder case : Fresh warrant issued for Musharraf, Aziz

QUETTA: A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Sibbi on Wednesday once again issued the arrest warrants for former president Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former governor Awais Ahmed Ghani and others nominated in the Akbar Bugti murder case.

The arrest warrants were issued by ATC judge Nawaz Khan Barakzai while hearing the Akbar Bugti murder case, which was registered at the Kohlu Police Station.

During the hearing, the investigation officer told the court that Awais Ghani and former interior minister Aftab Khan Sherpao had been granted bail. The court expressed anger and said the bail was not acceptable, and that the accused should be arrested and brought before the court in the August 15 hearing. The investigation officer told the court that arrest warrants for Musharraf and Aziz had been sent to the Interior Ministry. staff report
