NADRA reinstates 61 terminated employees

KARACHI: Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik reinstated 61 terminated employees of his organisation involved in strikes, after personal hearing of each case, NADRA spokesman said on Saturday.

He said Chairman NADRA noticed suffering of sacked employees’ families and reinstated them after taking charge with back pay and promised they will be regularized. He told them they are public servants. Their promotions will dependent on citizens feedback through media, not length of service. He will move HR department to frame rules, regulations and present it to NADRA board. Employees thanked NADRA chairman for reinstating them in Ramzan with release of three-month salaries. ppi
