NADRA to send defamation notice to ‘The Sun’: sources
ISLAMABAD: NADRA Wednesday decided to serve legal notice to the British tabloid 'The Sun' for damages of Rs 10 billions on Olympics passport scandal.Meanwhile FIA has steered the investigation towards the alleged character of the scandal Muhammad Ali Asad.
The government sources told Geo news that NADRA has decided to send legal notice for damages of Rs 10 billions to ‘The Sun’ for publishing fake scandal.
According to the sources, Chairman NADRA will hold meeting with Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek on Thursday.
The sources also said that FIA will submit its detailed investigative report on the issue to the ministry of interior on July 27.
The FIA has launched investigation against Muhammad Ali Asad alleged involvement in preparing fake scandal, it added.
