Shahbaz vehicle comes under stick-attack

LAHORE: The vehicle of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif came under attack when a group of people wanting to meet the CM were stopped by his security detail at Jalu Park here on Wednesday.

According to details, the Chief Minister was leaving his camp office at Jalu Park where he had arrived earlier in a helicopter. As his vehicle reached Bridge Attari, a crowd of people that came out in support of a man arrested on charges of 50-year old Muhamamd Nazir's murder, tried to meet the Chief Minister.

The security detail of the Chief Minister stopped the crowd from pushing forward which enraged them to an extent that they started hitting the CM's vehicle with sticks.

The police present on the occasion arrested four of the protesters and started the legal action against them.
