Arsalan objects to NAB's JIT
ISLAMABAD: Dr Arsalan Iftikhar appeared before NAB's joint investigation team (JIT) today and submitted his written response, Geo News reported.The statement stated that the formation of JIT is illegal and beyond the mandate. 'The team members are biased as they are in favour of Malik Riaz and denial of fair trial is violation of Article 10-A of the Constitution.'
Arsalan denied allegations leveled against him and said that first evidence should be collected from Malik Riaz and he should also be apprised of it.
While talking to Geo News at the NAB Headquarters, Arsalan said he had only received one notice not two as told by the investigators.
However, Arsalan said he has sent two letters to the NAB regarding the formation of joint investigation team but got no response.
