Key character in Olympic visa scandal surfaces in LahoreLAHORE: The main character in the alleged Olympic visa scandal case, Abid Chaudhry, has come out of hiding after his brother passed away on Saturday morning. He alleged that the scandal had resulted in his brother’s death, who passed away after suffering a heart attack. Abid ended his assumed disappearance and appeared before the media, saying his family had been in constant agony since the scandal emerged and claimed that the high level of tension had taken his brother’s life. He pleaded the government and judiciary for justice. Abid Chaudhry had gone underground after a joint investigation team of the FIA and NADRA launched a crackdown against those involved in the alleged Olympic visa scandal. His family said he went into hiding due to threats to his life, adding that he would only appear if summoned by the court. inp
