ISLAMABAD: Oppostion Leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah said Friday that if July 5th had been remembered, there would be no dictator like Pervez Musharraf. Shah also held former military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq responsible for terrorism and sectarianism in Pakistan.

Shah during a news conference called July 5th as a black day, saying that this was the Asuhra of the political world. The PPP leader was referring to the ouster of democratically elected Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto by General Zia on 5th July 1977.

Khursheed Shah added that the PPP government had taken loans during its tenure but the PML-N government had done so in its first week of governance. “The government should form a committee and it should evaluate which government had taken more loans.” Shah also said that committee should see how the loans were used.
