People get sufferings instead of relief in Ramzan: Elahi
GUJRAT: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Pervaiz Elahi Saturday said the floodgates of price hike have been unlocked before the holy month of Ramzan and the people are being made to suffer instead of getting relief.
Pervaiz Elahi expressed the above views while holding separate meetings with delegations of notables and politicians belonging to various parts of Gujrat.
Slamming the Federal and Punjab budgets, the PML-Q leader said the measures announced under the budgets will unleash a flood of inflation which is already in front of everyone to see.
“Prices of everything ranging from edibles to other items of everyday use as well as electricity, gas, petrol, diesel, public transport fares, rents for shops and residences have witnessed a sharp rise,” he regretted.
