Nawaz writes to Manmohan, wants bilateral ties improved
NEW DELHI: Pakistan has expressed its sincere desire to move forward on improving relations with India.
Ambassador Shahryar M Khan called on Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Friday and delivered a letter from Pakistan’s prime minister. The letter contained warm expressions of goodwill and good wishes for the Indian prime minister, and conveyed Pakistan’s sincere desire to move forward on improving relations with India.
These sentiments were warmly reciprocated by Dr Manmohan Singh. The special envoy also met National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon and Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai.
He will also be calling on External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid. agencies
