Iran power agreement should be honoured: Balochistan CM
ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has called for the power agreement with Iran to be honoured as it will help with the energy crisis in the province.
Dr Baloch during a meeting with Water and Power Minister Khawaja Asif said that electricity demand in Balochistan was 1,400 mega watts (MW) while the province was only receiving 700 MW from the national grid.
Dr Baloch added that if power was imported from Iran, 1,000 MW would be added which could solve the load shedding crisis in Balochistan.
