PTI to protest against power outages in Khyber Paktunkhwa
PESHAWAR: Terming prolonged power outages a conspiracy against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) has announced protest demonstrations across the province.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, PTI MPAs said that the KPK was facing unjust loadshedding despite being the largest power producer.
They warned the federation against what they said discriminative treatment and announced that protest demonstration would be held from Monday if the power issue was not resolved.
The lawmakers said that KPK Chief Minister Pervez Khattak would lead the protests. They also demanded immediate removal of Chief Executive PEPCO and said that the PTI would go to any extent to fulfill promises, which it made with the people.
