Imran Khan fit; walks without supporting jacket: doctors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has been declared fully fit by doctors after his check-up in London. Imran, who fell from a fork-lifter which was hoisting him up a platform to address an election rally, walked without the supporting jacket for the first time after the injury. He remained in hospital for over two weeks and missed the crucial last few days of electioneering. In a tweet, Imran said, “I am walking for the first time without braces after almost 9 and a half weeks.” The PTI chief had left for Britain a few days ago to consult medical specialists about back injuries he sustained after a dramatic fall ahead of the May 11 historic polls. inp
