Polling on senate two vacant seats from Balochistan Thursday
QUETTA: Polling for senate two vacant seats from Balochistan will be held tomorrow (Thursday) in the provincial assembly here, Geo News reported.
Sources said that five candidates are contesting for the senate two vacant seats.
Balochistan Provincial Election Commissioner, Syed Sultan Bayazid told Geo News that the polling would be held from 9.00 A.M. in the morning until 3.00 P.M. in the afternoon tomorrow.
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N)’s Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, Pushtunkhaw Milli Awami Party (PKMAP)’s Abdul Rauf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI)’s Engineer Fazal Karim, Wali Mohammad and Imran are the contestants for two senate seats.
It is expected that 61 members of the Balochistan assembly would be casting their votes for the senate two seats fallen vacant after Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani resigned and due to Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani got elected as member national assembly.
