PIA airhostess arrested for smuggling phonesISLAMABAD: An airhostess of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was arrested on Tuesday when she tried to smuggle in a large quantity of smart phones. According to media reports, airhostess Nusrat arrived in Islamabad on PIA flight PK 786 from London. During routine search customs officials recovered 48 smartphones from her luggage. The customs authorities took her into custody. Earlier, two other airhostesses of the national flag carrier were found involved in smuggling of drugs in laptop and aircraft toilet. online
