‘PTCL revenue streams have grown across all spheres’
* PTCL posts steady growth of 17% with an increase in net profit amounting to Rs 7.9bn for first half of FY13
* Gross profit for the period under review stands at Rs 24.1bn

KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) revenue streams have grown across all spheres of our product portfolio, despite a highly competitive market.
PTCL President and CEO Walid Irshaid stated this while addressing the company’s board of directors meeting held at a local hotel in Islamabad to announce the financial results for the period ending June 30, 2013.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has posted strong financial results in the first half of FY13.
The PTCL group posted a steady growth of 17 percent with an increase in net profit amounting to Rs 7.9 billion for first half of FY13, while gross profit for the period under review stood at Rs 24.1 billion.
Growth in the company’s revenue stream also showed a significant increase of 31 percent, with net profit standing at Rs 6.3 billion, while gross profit was recorded at Rs 13.8 billion.
PTCL President and CEO Walid Irshaid while expressing his pleasure at this strong performance of the company said, “Our commitment is to ensure that our business decisions fulfil several key criteria, including adding value to our shareholders, enhancing our market share in the broadband space, and our capacity and capability to serve our customers across the entire country.
