Federal Cabinet to discuss power crisis on July 25
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet meeting has been summoned on July 25 to discuss the power crisis and law and order situation.
According to government sources, the cabinet will be briefed by several ministries during the meeting. Sources added that the government had also sent the recommendation to summon the meeting of the Council of Common Interest (CCI) on the same day to provinces.
In the expected CCI meeting, short-term projects and the new energy policy would be discussed with the provinces. According to sources, the announcement of the energy policy would be made by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
