Sindh cabinet decides to bring new LG system
KARACHI: The Sindh cabinet Thursday decided to bring new Local government (LG) system in the province, Geo news reported.
A meeting of the provincial cabinet that deliberated on constituting the new LG system was held here at Chief Minister (CM) house.
According to details, the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Nisar Khoro, Sharjeel Memon, Mir Hazar Khan Bajarani and Muraad Ali Shah were present in the meeting, while provincial law minister Sikandar Mendro, Advocate General and officials of Law department also attended the decision-making meeting.
The recommendations for new LG system were discussed in the meeting.
The Sindh cabinet would also take other political parties and stake holders of the province into confidence in connection with the formation of new LG system.
