Jhagra withdraws nomination papers
ISLAMABAD: The PML-N’s covering candidate for the presidential election, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra withdrew his nomination papers on Saturday.
During the scrutiny phase, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) accepted the nomination papers of Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Mamnoon Hussain and Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed.
With Jhagra’s withdrawal, the election will be a two way race between the PML-N’s Hussain and PTI’s Justice (retd) Wajihuddin.
