Imran Khansummoned in MQM defamation case
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Friday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan after filing of a defamation suit against him by the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM).
The court has issued a notice to Imran Khan directing him to appear before it on December 13. He is obliged to appear before the court with relevant documents and a written statement in favour of his stance against the MQM; otherwise, a decision would be given based on available evidences. Imran Khan has held MQM leader Altaf Hussain responsible for the killing of PTI leader Zehra Shahid, who was murdered a week after the national elections. inp
