MQM supported Mamnoon unconditionally: Rana Sana
LAHORE: Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah has said that Muttahida Qami Movement (MQM) promised to vote unconditionally in favor of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Mamnoon Hussain, Geo News reported Tuesday.
Speaking to media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said MQM gave positive response on PML-N request to vote for Mamnoon Hussain, however, the decision about Sindh governorship was yet to be made.
He said MQM chief Altaf Hussain considers Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif as brothers, so we also regard him as a brother.
Rana said PML-N will take PPP, MQM, PTI and other parties on board.
President has a key constitutional role, therefore, all should cast vote in the polling, he added.
