PTI’s Ayla Malik disqualified

RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court’s (LHC) election tribunal bench in Rawalpindi on Monday declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ayla Malik ineligible to contest by-elections from NA-71 (Mianwali) on the grounds that her intermediate certificate was fake. Ayla’s papers were rejected by the respective returning officer on the plea of her political opponent Obaidullah Shadikehl. app
