Nation supports Operation Zarb-e-Azb: Shahbaz
BANNU: The entire nation supports ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb to eliminate terrorists and their sanctuaries in North Waziristan Agency, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Addressing internally displaced persons (IDPS) here, Sharif said this war was for Pakistan’s survival and it was ‘now or never.’
The Punjab chief minister told IDPs they were passing through the most difficult phase of their lives and the entire country stood with them.
Shahbaz Sharif praised the brave soldiers of the armed forces who were fighting those who had paralyzed Pakistan by trying to enforce their ideology with the barrel of a gun. He prayed that action initiated by the Pakistan Army would make the country peaceful.
Shahbaz Sharif said a hospital, technological college and girls college would be established in North Waziristan and announced Rs7,000 per month aid for each IDP family.
