PPP top brass discusses important matters in Dubai

DUBAI: A high-level meeting of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Tuesday thoroughly discussed and reviewed important matters including latest development of Rangers operation in Karachi. The meeting was held under the chair of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari. According to the media reports, the participants of the meeting also discussed reshuffle in Sindh cabinet, changing the portfolios of ministers and latest monsoon flood situation. Several decisions have been made for changing the infrastructure in party. During the meeting the Bilawal Zardari directed the high-ups of the Sindh government to take steps for counter the possible flood situation in Sindh province. He directed the Sindh government to remain vibrant and vigilant in view of potential flood. The meeting was attended by Rehman Malik, Sherry Rehman, Faryal Talpur and others important leaders of the party. Zardari expressed profound grief over loss of precious lives and damages to property in flash floods in Chitral. In a message issued here by PPP Media Office, he directed provincial chapter of the party to reach out to the flood victims and assist them in rehabilitation. He also called for taking urgent steps to alleviate the sufferings of the people and to restore Chitral’s links with the rest of the country. Zardari condoled with the bereaved families over the death of their loved ones and prayed for eternal rest to those who lost their lives in the calamity.
